Plant spacing calculator
A triangular pattern fits about 15% more plants at the same spacing and covers the ground faster.
How it is calculated
Square: area ÷ spacing². Triangular: area ÷ (spacing² × 0.866), because offset rows sit closer (√3 ÷ 2). Both rounded down.
