Terms of use — Tausendwerk API
Version 1.0 · Operator: Maxime Perriard, Tausendwerk, Avenue du Général-Guisan 28, 1700 Fribourg, Switzerland · Contact: agentic@tausendwerk.xyz
1. Service. Tausendwerk provides software tools over an API (REST and MCP). Each tool is described on tausendwerk.xyz with its price per call.
2. Account and keys. You get an API key when you buy credit. Keep it secret. Calls made with your key are charged to you.
3. Prices and payment. Prices are in CHF per successful call, as shown in the tool description when you call it. Calls with invalid input and calls that fail on our side are free. Credit is prepaid through Stripe and does not expire. Credit is not refunded in cash, except where the law requires it or if we close the service (then we refund unused credit).
4. Free allowance. Up to 100 calls per day per client without a key. We may change or end the free allowance.
5. Acceptable use. Do not use the API to break the law, to attack or overload the service, to resell keys, or to process data you have no right to process. We may block keys or clients that do.
6. Results. Results are produced automatically. Check them before you rely on them. The finance, calendar and currency tools are calculations, not financial, legal or tax advice. Language-level results are estimates. Test data is fake; never use generated bank details for payments.
7. Availability. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee it. We may change or retire tools; we announce a retirement at least 30 days ahead on the stats page and in the API catalog.
8. Liability. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damage or lost profit. Liability for intent and gross negligence stays as the law provides.
9. Data. See the privacy notice.
10. Changes. We may change these terms. We announce changes 30 days ahead. If you keep using the API after that, the new terms apply.
11. Law and court. Swiss law applies. Court: Fribourg, Switzerland. Mandatory consumer law of your country stays applicable.
